![]() These images should give you enough contrast, white window frames and branches to check Chromatic Aberration, and straight edges to see if the lens would be good for you. We are in-between rainstorms here - but here are 3 images - straight of of camera JPEGs from a Lumix GF1. If your New Year Resolution is likley to be to control your "GAS" then perhaps get this ordered before January 31st ! My guess is that neither is 15-20x better than this Brightin Star lens, which cost me the same as a Pizza Dinner for two. Yes, I would like the AF Olympus 7-14mm, but it s 20x more expensive - or the Lumix 7-14mm which is 15x more expensive (UK Amazon prices today). For the price - it is certainly value for money! I will take it out at the weekend and post some images - but my initial impression is very good. If you want resolution to the corners with an ultrawide view my advice is shoot overlapping panoramas
